Club Dance

Come and join us for a thrilling night of Club Dance Modern Jive! This partner dance style is not only a blast but also a fantastic way to improve your fitness and expand your social circle. Held at the New Plymouth Club every Thursday at 7:00 pm, our classes offer a friendly and supportive environment to learn the easiest partner dance style around.

Once the class is over, the dance floor opens up at 8:00 pm for you to practice your moves and show off your new skills. It’s the perfect opportunity to let loose and have a great time! The cost is just $8 per class, and we offer casual attendance without any commitment. Additionally, we have concession options available for those who prefer to attend regularly.

Senior Activity Group

At our club, we believe in embracing life to the fullest and building lasting friendships with others who are in a similar age group. “Welcome to all those interested in joining our cheerful community for fun, camaraderie, and enjoyable exercise! When you initially join us, one of our club members will gladly assist you with club registration if you’re not already a member.

You are invited to participate in our weekly Tuesday night sessions up to three times, with each class priced at $4. If you discover that line dancing resonates with you, it becomes mandatory to become a member of the New Plymouth Club, which comes at a modest fee of just $15 (membership forms are readily available at the bar). Additionally, you can become a part of our line dancing activity group by paying a yearly fee of $10.

By swiping your New Plymouth Club card, you gain access to the club’s facilities during their opening hours, including our restaurant.”

Welcome to the Outdoor Bowls activity group! We have some exciting opportunities for both full members of affiliated bowling clubs and members of NP Club Inc. If you’re a full member of a bowling club that is affiliated with Clubs NZ, you are eligible to enter national chartered club tournaments.

Even if your bowling club is not affiliated with Clubs NZ but you’re a member of NP Club Inc, you can still join in on the fun! We welcome you to become a member of the outdoor bowls adjunct for a small fee.

No matter your affiliation, we guarantee a great time on our beautifully maintained greens. So grab your bowls and come join us for some outdoor bowling excitement!
