Come visit us and join in on our many activities available to club members. We have live entertainment, Sky TV’s for watching the big game, a gaming room with modern machines, raffles, jackpot draws and more! We encourage sporting and culture groups and have several adjuncts including 8 ball, snooker, indoor and outdoor bowls, golf, euchre, cribbage, fishing, line dancing, rock n roll, & club dance.

    Euchre or eucre is a trick-taking card game most commonly played with four people in two partnerships with a deck of 24, 28, or sometimes 32, standard playing cards.

    Wednesday night from 7.00pm – 9.30pm. Learn or re-learn your dance moves with lessons from 7.00pm.

     

    This dance form is an example of a partnered dance. In classes a choreographed sequence is generally taught but this may not be the case. In practice it is also an improvised dance.

     

    Rock and Roll dance emerged in America from the Swing dance Lindy Hop. It became popular when West Coast dance instructors attempted to reintroduce Lindy Hop, or Jitterbug, as Roll and Roll after popular interest in the dance style was aroused from the success of the film ‘Rock around the Clock’ in 1956.

    Held on Friday Afternoon at 1.00pm, please put your name down 30 minutes before. There is no shortage of space to play on, up to 20 mats to run a competition on these nights.

     

    The game is played in a similar way to lawn bowls and although there are slight differences between the two, it is essentially an indoor version of the outdoor game. Indoors it is played on strips of replica green of a comparable length to lawn bowls.

    The location offers better lighting and integration on the main floor. New members are most welcome. Club nights are Monday with names in by 6.45 pm.

     

    Eight Ball is a call shot game played with a cue ball and fifteen object balls, numbered 1 through 15. One player must pocket balls of the group numbered 1 through 7 (solid colors), while the other player has 9 thru 15 (stripes).

    Enjoy life to the full with similar members to yourself.

    Meet every 2nd Tuesday from 1 pm at the club for organised games of cards Euchre & 500, Indoor Bowls, 8 Ball Pool or just socializing. Afternoon Tea is a highlight with each member bringing a plate of eats. Reciprocal visits from other clubs are organised on a regular basis plus Bus Tours of 4-5 days.

    Don’t stay at home and be alone.
